GAMEDAY!!! Dawson Mercer and the #NJDevils look to keep rolling tonight against an inferior Montreal Canadiens squad. The Devils have now won six straight at home, and host a 13-2-2 record over their last 16. Vitek Vanecek will get the start in goal, aiming to build upon his 13 game (!!) point streak. Over that span, he’s had an average save percentage of .926%. Simply put, Vitek has been otherwordly. We are still waiting to see if Mackenzie Blackwood will back-up, after he left practice early “tweaking something”. This is certainly winnable IF the Devils stick to their game plan and play the way they’ve been playing. Obviously, anything can happen. But Montreal’s roster is very depleted and the Devils are nearly at full strength. Games like these are a must win, because we are by far the better team on paper. A victory tonight would push us 6 points ahead of NYR and 1 point behind first-place Carolina (they will have two games in hand). Rock the rock tonight!! LGD!! 😈
