GAMEDAY!!! Jack Hughes is BACK in the lineup as the #NJDevils face a huge divisional opponent in Pittsburgh!! In his absence, the Devils held down the fort, going 2-1-1. However, their overall play was clearly lacking. It’s an absolute blessing that Jack Hughes only missed four games, and it will be an immediate boost having him back. The trade deadline is looming and it’s pretty obvious that even if we (somehow) don’t land Timo Meier, the Devils will improve in some way. Until then, the Devils need to keep finding ways to win hockey games. A regulation victory tonight would put them fourteen points clear of the Penguins, who own the top Wild Card spot. The New York Rangers are only one point behind the Devils, so every single win is crucial. The Devils absolutely need to clean up their defense, which has performed in the bottom-half in the league since the All Star Break. More info will come as we await puck drop, including who will be scratched with Jack’s return. LGD!! 😈
