The #NJDevils fell in St. Louis, and they deserved it. Frankly, it was about time that their poor defensive play caught up to them. The same turnovers and an inability to clear the zone continued yet again. Damon Severson and Miles Wood specifically were just not good. Damon turned over the puck and was caught out of position a ton. Wood took another unintelligent penalty that led to a massive insurance goal for STL - something he’s done on almost a nightly basis. Shout-out to Fabian Zetterlund for being one of the few who looked like they cared tonight. Even Nico Hischier has been ice cold. This isn’t gonna fly come playoff time. It’s time to make some additions to solidify things, Fitzy. 😈
