DEVILS WIN!!! Nikita Okhotiuk’s game winning goal helped the #NJDevils to a massive victory in Los Angeles!! Mackenzie Blackwood was a monumental factor in the game’s outcome - stopping 35 of 37 (.945 SV%) including a penalty shot by Kevin Fiala. Tomas Tatar, Ryan Graves, and Erik Haula all found the back of the net before Jesper Bratt’s empty netter. Depth scoring has been a very prevalent conversation, and throughout this road trip the Devils have continued to get it. It’s made a huge difference. Overall, the Devils were able to capitalize on their opportunities and buckle down when it mattered. They are now 17-2-1 on the road (best in NHL) and stand at 28-12-3 for the overall season!! With that 28th victory, they’ve officially passed their win total for the ENTIRETY of last season. The Devils will have tomorrow off but will be back at it on Monday to take on the struggling San Jose Sharks. WOO!! LGD!! 😈
