DEVILS WIN!!! The #NJDevils got a much needed victory as they blew out the Detroit Red Wings!! The Devils scored two powerplay goals in the contest, as Dougie Hamilton got the first and Nico Hischier (birthday boy!) got the second. Vitek Vanecek played excellent once more, stopping 32 of 33 (.969 SV%) including a few big ones early when the momentum was shifted towards Detroit. Alexander Holtz had his first career multi-point night, as he notched a goal and an assist in the third period. Overall, this was a very solid game for the Devils against a team that they should beat if they want to prove they can hang with the best. They’ll face an inconsistent but powerful St. Louis Blues team at The Rock tomorrow night!! WOO!! LGD!! 😈
