GAMEDAY!!! The #NJDevils are back from the Christmas break with a HUGE rematch ahead of them. The Boston Bruins edged them out last Friday by a score of 4-3, and now they’re back as the Devils look to return the favor. All four of those goals were in a dreadful second period that put the Devils in too big of a hole to climb out of. Per Amanda Stein, the Devils really emphasized puck recovery in the corners during practice yesterday, specifically off turnovers. Their sudden inability to manage the puck has hurt them time and time again, so it will be interesting to see what kind of response the team gives. Tyce Thompson has been recalled from Utica & will make his season debut (replacing Holtz in the lineup). Vitek Vanecek will get the start in between the pipes. The Metropolitan Division is an absolute bloodbath right now, so every win is monumental. And there’s no better way to do it than against the best team in the NHL. LFGD. 😈
