DEVILS WIN!!! Jack Hughes got the scoring started and Akira Schmid dazzled, stopping 33 of 34 shots (.970 SV%)! The #NJDevils did what they’ve done all season, and that is respond when they need to. Buffalo cut their deficit to one with 5:41 to play in the third, and then Tomas Tatar scored less than three minutes later. This has been the recipe for success and it’s reflected in their record. Dawson Mercer was moved up to the first line and he proved that he was up to the task, as he had the primary assist on the first goal and was buzzing all night. Yet again, it’s another excellent team win - and a big bounce back after the heartbreaker vs. Toronto. The train just keeps on rolling!! WOO!!! LGD!! 😈
