GAMEDAY!!! The #NJDevils aim to make history and earn their FOURTEENTH straight victory, which would be a franchise record!!! Vitek Vanecek will get the nod in front of an expected sold out crowd. A victory tonight would send the Devils one game shy of the 1/4 mark of the season with just THREE losses…let that soak in. Not only that, but on top of the franchise record, a victory would propel them to the fifth longest W streak in NHL history (!!!!!) This has been a run where the word ‘special’ doesn’t even do it justice. It doesn’t even feel real. How cool would this be to put the cherry on top of what is an already perfect sundae. It won’t be an easy task with Auston Mathews & the Leafs coming to town, but we all know they’re certainly capable if they stick to what’s worked over the last calendar month. To add one more note…a win tonight would ensure it’s been over a full month since the Devils have lost a game. Let’s keep rolling. LGD!! 😈
