GAMEDAY!!!
The #NJDevils are back at it in what should be their biggest test of the year thus far. They'll be in Edmonton to take on Connor McDavid and the red-hot Oilers, who have won five straight. They have averaged 5 goals per game over that winning streak, which will be a massive opportunity for the improved Devils' defense to show they are legit. Connor McDavid leads the entire league with 22 points in 10 games, and Leon Draisaitl is right behind him with 21 points. While difficult, this is a glorious opportunity for the Devils to prove they aren't messing around. A Devils' victory would push them to five straight Ws - something they have not done since December 27, 2017. Jack Hughes will be a player to watch, as he is at a point-per-game pace now and had three points vs. Edmonton on this past New Year's Eve, including an overtime winner. More info will come as we near puck drop, so stay tuned! LGD!! ๐
