DEVILS WIN!!! Tomas Tatar’s powerplay goal off a beautiful feed from Jesper Bratt got things rolling, and the #NJDevils did not look back. A Graeme Clarke tally pushed them ahead in the third, and some stellar goaltending by Nico Daws helped seal the deal. All around positives from this game, especially in net: Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 15 of 16 (.938 SV%) & Daws stopped all five shots that came his way (1.000 SV%). The roster locks like Tatar, Bratt, and Severson played like they should have. There were minimal mistakes and overall play was solid. Nico Hischier did exit after the first due to cramping, but it is reported to be a non-issue and his departure was precautionary. They’ll be back at it tomorrow night at the Rock to take on the Islanders, where Jack Hughes will likely get the start on a line with Ondrej Palat and Alexander Holtz. LGD!!! 😈
