The former Norris Trophy winner has hung up the skates after thirteen seasons in the NHL - three of them with the #NJDevils. Subban amassed 115 goals and 352 assists throughout a very successful career. As a fan favorite in every city he played for, he continued to make positive headlines off the ice as well. He broke many barriers throughout his career as one of the few African Americans to play at the game's highest level, continuing to pave the way for future generations. In New Jersey, he led a very successful 'Blueline Buddies' program: helping to strengthen the bond between inner city children and their local police officers. As a Devil, PK scored 17 goals and 42 assists, while being an important mentor to younger, upcoming players like Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier. Thank you for everything and best of luck in retirement, @subbanator!!
