Devils lose a tough one in Vegas. Played really well for the first 12 minutes of the game and then started skating flat. Nico and Lovejoy scored in the first period. Zacha gave away the puck leading to Vegas’ first goal and it went downhill from there. Back-to-back games where a Zacha turnover led to an opposing team’s goal. Devils were resurgent the last 10 minutes of the game but could not put one past Malcolm Subban. Too little too late. Had a 6-on-4 for the final minute of play and tried too hard to be perfect, leading to only one registered SOG and zero points on the day. Again no consistency for this team. They head to Buffalo on Tuesday night to attempt to get back on track. Still no word on Blackwood yet. #NJDvsVGK
