It all starts tomorrow - prelims of my first Olympic trials tomorrow at 5:55 PT (8:55 ET). 3 years ago I sat at home watching this meet wishing I was there never thinking I’d be good enough to compete at this stage. Now I’m here with a chance to make a spot on the team. I have gratitude and peace going into this meet. Gratitude for dreams coming true, and peace knowing that whatever the outcome is, I know with confidence that God’s will will prevail. It is His story, not mine, so I let Him write it. The work is finished, now it’s time to pick up the pole and go.
