Small town things I'm vibing with so far ⤵️ 👉 I sat down at the diner counter one morning and a waitress named Candy who had been there for 20 years handed me a menu and said, "I haven't seen you in here before." 👉 I live on one side of town square, my friend lives on the other, and every day I walk my dog to her place to run around her yard. 👉 I have a running tab at the local ice cream shop. 👉 The game parlor next to my apartment also breeds lizards. (For some reason?) 👉 A man at the diner handed me his phone number and I became full-blown diner gossip for the next 3 days. (I have since "accidentally" misplaced the paper.) 👉 I got the full rundown of how a prominent LGBTQ couple was very publicly ousted from their church when one of the husbands ran for public office. 👉 No one has a website.
