If you’re out to take some new runs, you’re in. @wheelingthru recently joined us on the hill to take a lesson with the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD):   “I’ve debated sit skiing for quite some time and so glad I finally bit the bullet. Having only skied once before being in wheelchair, I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it. Cold and snow are usually not hospitable conditions for wheelchair users, but the experts at @thenscd made the experience feel effortless. Thank you to my instructors @pammnotpan @nicole_kuzdzal for sharing your knowledge. I was doing green runs by the end of our 3-hour lesson (quick flex 😉).   Details: • All abilities are welcome- strokes, amputees, cognitive disabilities, blind, deaf, etc. • The resort staff, in general, are super knowledgeable about adaptive skiing so if you have some experience and don’t need to take a lesson, rest assured, you’re in good hands at @winterparkresort. • Prices for lessons at NSCD vary depending the time of year, but they ...
