🟢 NEW national park in Laos helps to protect nearly 500,000 acres of biodiversity in the Annamite Mountains. The recently designated Xe Sap National Park is home to some of the most threatened species found nowhere else in the world. Re:wild and partners work to conserve many of these unique species including the rare Annamite Striped Rabbit and the striking Crested Argus. Additionally, scientists believe Xe Sap is one of the last remaining places on Earth where the legendary Saola can be found. Re:wild works with local organizations and local governments, to advocate for the creation and expansion of protected areas such as Xe Sap. WWF Laos has led the development of this national park for the past decade alongside the government of Laos, with support from rainforesttrust and Wyss Foundation.
