For this #FindOutFriday, we are sharing the importance of the Meningitis B vaccine. Meningococcal B (Men B) is spread when in close contact with someone who is sick or carries the bacteria. Meningitis B causes an infection in the lining of the brain and spinal cord. This can be fatal or cause life-long disabilities like kidney damage, loss of limbs, and brain damage. The best way to protect yourself and others from contracting the disease is to get vaccinated. Looking to get the Men B vaccine? Call Campus Health at 317-274-8214. For more information about the vaccine, visit the link in our bio! #MenB #College #Students
