Erin O'Keefe of MarquetteWSOC is the Blue & Gold 💙💛 Student-Athlete of August! #WeAreMarquette The native of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts is a biomedical sciences major and plans to attend veterinary school after completing her undergraduate coursework. She has been a member of College of Health Sciences Dean's List, Athletics Director's Honor Roll and the BIG EAST Conference All-Academic Team each year at Marquette. During the 2023-24 academic year, O'Keefe volunteered at the Milwaukee County Zoo, supporting zookeepers and working in the education and conservation areas. At Marquette, she is an On Your Marq mentor, a program designed to support neurodivergent students navigating their undergraduate experience. Over this summer, O'Keefe interned at the Cape Wildlife Center in Massachusetts, working directly with animals and animal health protocols.
