If a trip to Nashville, or the South in general, gets your stomach rumbling for fried chicken and cornbread, you’ll be shocked to find out that the region’s best new restaurant isn’t focused on those traditional menu items. Noko, which opened in March of 2023, is serving up Asian-inspired, wood-fired comfort food with specialties like smoked gochujang hot wings and lettuce wraps filled with hot honey glazed pork belly. And don’t even get us started on the drink menu…which features the Noko Old Fashioned made with wagyu fat-washed bourbon.
Is your mouth watering yet? Then make your reservation soon because this restaurant’s reputation is making its way around town, and the service is known to be just as *chef’s kiss* as the food. “The manager even called me the next day to ask how the experience was—that’s not a common level of service in this town,” one Reddit user wrote. Tap the link in our bio for more on the new hot spot and send this to someone who’s visiting Nashville soon.
