🎨Our 3rd and final mural of the 2024 season is officially completed! “Urban Healing” located on the Stoklosa School by Refuge Lowell is the 15th ArtUp Lowell installation and depicts “Mother Earth” holding the city together, reminding us all that nature is all around us. If you look closely, you’ll find plants and herbs that grow in urban settings – like milkweed, yarrow, mullein, and jewelweed. ✨For the artists involved, this project was a full-circle moment, as many of them met and became friends when they were students at the Stoklosa learning from Refuge Lowell’s co-founder, Nikki Giraffo, who taught arts at the school. ❤️Congratulations to Daryan Kong, Martiza Lezama, Sorieya Mao, Paw Moo, Caroline Chhim, Emily Ribeiro, and Nikki Giraffo for completing such a beautiful project!
