The seventh week of our Best. Summer. Ever. program saw our national championship program welcome many newcomers onto the water at our CHS Rowing Camp. Led by CHS Head Rowing Coach Jacob Filby ’14, CHS President of Rowing Thomas Flaherty and current Crusader team members, youngsters learned the basics of the sport out of the Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association’s Patrick Paladino Memorial Boathouse. Middle schoolers from across Western New York were guided by CHS team members as they carried boats to and from the dock for their sessions that took them along the Buffalo River from the BRSA to Canalside and back.
