Nathan Waddell, Director of Sales – Corporate Owned Channel (Mid-South Territory) is celebrating 20 years of service with U.S. Cellular this year. When asked what has kept him here at U.S. Cellular for twenty years, Nathan shared, “The culture, for sure. More specifically the way the organization cares for its associates, the customers, and just the way we do business. It’s special.” Nathan, who was in the Army Reserves for ten years and is a member of our VALOR resource group, shared some advice for those planning a transition back into civilian life. “Over time you develop a lingo that is specific to your industry or working environment. The military is no different and may be even more lingo-driven. Placing some focus on how to best convey your military experiences and how those mirror experiences in the civilian sector is quite important.
