Part 3 of my 136kg/300lb dummy experiment.
It’s very rare we have to rescue someone going UP stairs but it can happen (basements, ships, factories etc) And usually we’re two about the task, unless it’s your buddy who’s down.
I’ve done this before with a colleague weighing around a 100kg/220lb incl gear, attaching the webbing around his BA behind the neck. It was quite “easy”.
Adding another 35kg/~80lb sure was a lot heavier 🥵
But it was a fun test😊☑️
FYI: the webbing should be more tight but the dumbbell slid away and caused a bit of a problem, also on the way down, falling to the side. So I had to take it a bit slow down to not damage the stairs 😬
Also I have a carabiner I could use to make a loop around his torso, if needed.
And for the ones who always have to find something negative and ask where my helmet is; it’s on the fire truck if you desperately need to know🤷🏻♀️
