Bottom Up! Last week we celebrated National Root Beer Float Day and our team enjoyed this classic summertime treat provided by our Senior Leadership Team!
While the exact person responsible for the creation of the root beer float remains uncertain, one story credits Frank J. Wisner of Cripple Creek, Colorado. Wisner owned a soda fountain and was inspired by the snowy mountain peaks outside his window when he came up with the idea of adding a scoop of ice cream to his root beer, creating a delicious float. The root beer float dates back to 1893.
