Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day, but it is the most important meal to get RIGHT.
We sometimes fill this meal with sugary, starchy foods instead of whole, nutrient-dense ones, causing us to feel bloated and tired.
It is important to start your day with foods that will nourish your body.
Stay away from breakfast foods like:
Corn flakes with milk
Fruit flavored yogurt
Fruit smoothies
Oatmeal with fruit
These foods will mess with your blood sugar, causing it to be high then low.
This causes your body to NOT burn fat for fuel.
The good news is that finding foods to eat that will keep your energy up throughout the day and allow you to burn fat is easier than you think.
