The Championship game between the Nordiques and Golden Seals had everyone on the edge of their seats. The Nordiques held a 2-0 lead midway through the second period but the Seals weren’t ready to give in. With two unanswered goals they tied the regulation game and forced the game to overtime. With a scoreless first OT, the game pushed into a second OT and with minutes remaining the Nordiques found the back of the net fighting through a scrum in front of the Seals tendie. Congrats to the Nordiques for a hard fought season and a well deserved win.
