I’m proud of myself. As a GenZer, sometimes people are hesitant to give me the pay I deserve…I used to be shy asking or proposing a rate but now I let my case studies prove it. The work is there, so the rate makes sense. Now, I ask on deadline with clear communication following. If I’m still scared or nervous to talk about it, I send an email being crystal clear what my expectations are. It’s 2023!! Get with the program.
