“You know I still hoop” 🏟️ Episode 5: Kingdome 👑🏀 I met up with Kareef Myers (aka @5thavemunch)—the co-commissioner of the Kingdome basketball tournament. He shared his basketball story and how you have to work your way up to play in @kingdome_basketball 👀 This legendary tournament—located in Harlem (115th & Malcolm X)—just celebrated its 40th anniversary. While there was a pause in the 2000s, the Kingdome is back and remains one of the largest streetball leagues in NYC. It even hosted an @and1 Open Run last summer. Munch then emphasized how the Kingdome community is a family. Which led me to meet Dara—the founder of @thekitchen_co 🥘 She explained why she loves cooking at Kingdome and let me try a fish sandwich… Safe to say I’ll be back for seconds… even though Munch fried me in the 1-on-1 😅 Would you pull up to a game??
