Customized Beauty Meets Performance Our client for this project made it clear from the beginning that they wanted a door that would be durable enough to withstand the test of time. With this in mind, we knew exactly which door would offer the best protection and look as good as new even after years of daily wear and tear. The door we chose for this Massachusetts residence is made of two and a half inches thick, insulated, two-sided steel. Composite overlay boards typically come out of manufacturing white, but on this door, they are solid black all the way through ensuring that if anything were to impact the door it would maintain its sleek, elegant look by not revealing a different color beneath. Black also matches the door and perfectly contrasts the off-white exterior of this home.
