Michael Hay is currently a sophomore Aerospace Engineering student at Mississippi State University. After graduating from Hernando High School in Hernando, MS, Michael originally enrolled at MS State as a Music Education student with a concentration in percussion studies. He recently made the switch to Aerospace in the spring of 2015. Michael's first drum corps experience was with the Colt Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps in 2012, followed by the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014. This is his second season with AQ. Outside of band, Michael enjoys playing ultimate frizbee, ping pong, and attending the Starkville Church of Christ in Starkville, MS. He aspires to be a NASA astronaut and to lay down the first funky beats in space.
