Meet Constable Oskar Taylor 👋 For Oskar, it was the behind-the-scenes glimpses into the job from his family that convinced him to take the leap. “Growing up I was told many stories of great friendship and laughs had in the force.” As high school drew to an end and the big question of “What now?” was on the horizon, Oskar knew policing was in his future, the only question was where. Growing up in Mildura, Oskar admired watching his dad serve a long career with NSW Police. Ultimately, he felt that the Victoria Police recruitment drive and benefits on offer were “far better than NSW Police.” (His words, not ours 😉) After graduating, Oskar was given the opportunity to work at a regional police station and jumped at the idea of returning to his hometown.
