The East Bay’s own, Ilya Alekseev (ilya_alx), has earned a professional contract with Oakland Roots SC following standout performances with both project51o and Oakland Roots. Alekseev, previously playing under a Project 51O and Oakland Roots Academy contract, was instrumental in Project 51O’s deepest-ever League Two Playoff run.
