Pioneer. As both an athlete and businesswoman, Ginny Gilder has been at the forefront of women’s sports for over 40 years. In college, she advocated for gender equality and proper Title IX implementation at Yale, driving the administration to add a women’s locker room to the boathouse. As a professional athlete, Gilder is a two-time Olympian rower, winning silver at the 1984 Los Angeles games. And for the past 16 years, she’s served as co-owner of the seattlestorm, the wnba’s most valuable team.
