If you guys have been following along in my stories, you know that I’ve recently discovered that I am perimenopausal. It started one morning a few months ago when I woke up and literally had trouble getting out of bed. I’m not exaggerating when I say I felt like someone spent all night laying a pile of bricks neatly on my chest, row by row, and I. could. not. move. I can’t think of a single time in my life this has EVER happened to me, not even when I had the flu.
Which is exactly what I thought I had. The flu or COVID or some other terrible affliction. Thankfully, though, I did not have any of those things and the fatigue eventually dissipated towards the end of the day. But I noticed, more and more, that the unearthly tiredness would visit me a few mornings a week. I also noticed that Aunt Flo was coming by every 10 days or so and talk about UNINVITED GUESTS.
Sadly, because healthcare in the US SUCKS, I can’t get into see an OB/GYN for two months. Luckily, my primary care physician...
