This Saturday, March 20th, is the first of our brass masterclasses! Our first guest is Jon Schipper (1992-93 & 95-96). All three masterclasses are open to the public for only $30! Jon Schipper is an active performer and educator based in Madison, WI. He has performed with these artists in concert: Johnny Mathis, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra Jr., The Temptations, John Tesh, Don Rickles, Clay Aiken, Cheap Trick, Jon Faddis, Wayne Bergeron, Nelson Riddle Orch. During the 1990's, Jon was a featured soloist with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He has been featured on many commercial recordings including Apple computers, Culvers, and a film soundtrack. He regularly performs with many local groups including Isthmus Brass, Phat Phunktion, The Michael Walters Orchestra and The Big Payback.
