Waterfalls found in national parks are popular places for viewing and taking photos. While beautiful to see, they can pose risks to unprepared visitors. Whoa, we think you’re moving too fast.
We know that you’re gonna have it your way or nothing at all, but if you do visit a waterfall, make sure to know the potential hazards. For example, keep a safe distance from the edge, avoid slippery rocks, wear stable shoes (flippy floppies may lead to slippy sloppies), and definitely take your time and watch your footing as you move about the terrain. Not a great time to be looking down at your phone.
In conclusion, stick to the rivers and lakes that you’re used to.
