ICYMI On Wednesday March 20th, 2019, the Nigeria Olympic Committee, through it's Public Relations Officer phemmytula announced the list of #TeamNigeria athletes granted an Olympic scholarship by the IOC for the #Tokyo2020 summer Olympics. The NOC President, Habu Gumel shared his desire for a longer list but welcomed the news saying "These 11 athletes were carefully selected out of the numerous applications from Nigerian athletes home and abroad."
