Jennifer Wilson has announced her resignation from the Lake Forest College women’s ice hockey program on Thursday, August 15th. She has accepted an opportunity as an assistant coach in #NCAA Division I. Wilson played collegiate hockey at Manhattanville College in 2005-2006 before a break in her career. She returned to school from 2012-2014 and played for the, then, Robert Morris (IL) women’s ice hockey team, a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (#ACHA). In her two seasons with the Eagles, she accumulated 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points in 68 career games. For two seasons during her academic break, Wilson served as an assistant coach at St. Michael’s College (VT) from 2010-2012. After her collegiate career, she took over as head coach at RMU-IL for three seasons. She then took over the reigns at Buffalo State in 2017-2018, leading the Bengals to the #NEWHL semi-finals in her lone season.
