Visiting independent bookstores in new cities is always a favorite of mine! Today I’m at warwicksbooks the country’s oldest continuously family-owned and operated bookstore, which even was named Publishers Weekly’s Bookstore of the Year for 2024 🥳! Family-owned since 1896! It’s a cheerful, upbeat & super friendly shop, filled with books shelves full of special hand selected quality #reads! Many of the stores have been read and personally recommended by Warwick’s own staff! I got to meet the head Children’s Book Buyer, Stacey, who’s super nice & knowledgeable AND, I even met in-person, the one-and-only writer of beautiful books in verse christhebearbaron 🫶 Such a treat!
