I’ve never been very good at slowing down… it’s an aspect of myself that has allowed me to achieve a lot of personal goals but it’s also kept me attached to “what’s next” without taking time to celebrate those wins or live in the moment. Our life has slowed down quite a bit since we became parents but, truthfully, I think it’s for the best. As a mama, the passing time is right in front of you. Some days I swear that Riley grows up overnight so I’m really leaning into the slower paced chapter and trying to embrace it.
