Clothes that aren’t specifically asked for. This may be surprising, but chances are your teenager will either dislike the color, fit or style of the “cute” shirt you buy her. Makeup. Girls are pretty picky in what makeup they wear, and definitely like to pick out their own products. That cheap eyeshadow palette you bought her three years ago probably has never been used and is stuffed in the back of her vanity.
