Boys JV soccer takes down Turner High School 10-0 on Monday, September 19th. After the first ten minutes, East was already ahead 3-0. With only four goals away from the 10 needed to call mercy, sophomores JJ Paben and Calvin Duske, and junior Alex Tiedt scored, bringing the score up 9-0. Junior Mason Hedrick scored the 10th and final goal of the game putting the mercy rule into effect halfway through the second half. The team is scheduled to play their next game against Olathe NW on Thursday, Sep. 22 at 5 p.m. at the Shawnee Mission Soccer Complex.
