Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel thanks fans for the support after she revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and encouraged fans to get a mammogram check. The actress revealed her breast cancer diagnosis on the latest episode of her podcast Pod Meets World. 'I was recently diagnosed with DCIS, which stands for Ductal carcinoma in situ, which is a form of breast cancer, the 43-year-old said. 'It's very very very early, it's technically stage zero.' Fishel, who played Topanga on the beloved sitcom, said she's planning to have surgery to remove it. 'They found it so, so, so early that I'm going to be fine.
