Meet Miles Duncan of Maury County, who will represent the United States as a snowboarding coach with specialolympicsusa next March in Italy at the specialolympicsworldgames!
Miles has been involved in Special Olympics for over 15 years as a Unified partner and coach. He credits the organization with helping him find his identity and believes he’s learned as much, if not more, from Special Olympics athletes as he’s taught them. Miles has attended four Special Olympics USA Games as a coach and Unified partner in bocce.
In addition to coaching Special Olympics, Miles volunteers for CASA, an organization that advocates for foster children. He also enjoys spending time with his family and flipping houses in his spare time.
Coaching snowboarding at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025 is a dream come true for Miles. He looks forward to enhancing the experience for Special Olympics USA athletes leading up to and during the World Games.
