Meet Johnny Kelly of our Greater Knoxville area, who will represent the United States as a member of specialolympicsusa next March in Italy at specialolympicsworldgames! Johnny has been a Special Olympics athlete for a decade and considers flag football, powerlifting, softball, snowboarding and volleyball his favorite sports. He previously attended the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, Florida, where he won four medals in powerlifting. When he’s not working as a car detailer, Johnny enjoys exercising, watching UFC and playing video games. Johnny is preparing for the snowboarding competition at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025 by working out at his local YMCA several times a week. He’s excited for his first World Games experience and looks forward to meeting many new friends. #Cheer4USA #Turin2025
