A number of Auburn Tigers have swapped things up with their helmets for the upcoming season. Keionte Scott is back to wearing an Axiom after testing out a Schutt F7 in the spring. Scott wore an Axiom last year after previously wearing a SpeedFlex. Payton Thorne was the first Auburn starting QB to wear something other than a SpeedFlex since Sean White in 2016. He will trade in his F7 to join the rest of the QBs in a SpeedFlex. Luke Deal is wearing his third different helmet style as an Auburn Tiger. He originally sported the Vicis Zero1, moved to the Vicis Zero2, and is now wearing a Riddell SpeedFlex. Jalen McLeod is no longer wearing the Axiom as he moves to a Riddell SpeedFlex. Sylvester Smith wore a SpeedFlex in 2023, tried a Schutt F7 in the spring, and will wear a Riddell Axiom this fall.
