The Club Champ youth movement continues… Last season, Elayna Fanelli made her debut in Ladies Club Championship at Liberty Hill. After a couple solid rounds she came up just short of the title. This season was a different story. Now old enough to drive the cart, Elayna was joined by her younger sister Sara, making her first appearance in the championship. The two would build off each other’s momentum over the weekend, hitting impressive shot after shot. When the last putt dropped on Sunday afternoon, the 16-year-old Elayna had claimed her first Club Championship! Younger sister Sara finished close behind after firing her career low.
