This Bells Palsy diagnosis was unexpected. I had NO symptoms prior. It was a sudden issue. I had no explanation as to why it happened but possibilities were- a viral infection, stress/mini-stroke/my blood pressure, or an underlying condition such as Diabetes. Currently, I think it was my Diabetes being out of whack because otherwise my blood work and all the scans were clear and nothing significant was found. 3 weeks later I’ve taken a surplus of advise and suggestions as to what to do and try to make it better and I appreciate everyone’s help! Everyone’s words of encouragement and I have in fact tried almost everything that people have suggested. I’ve realized that it’s a matter of patience and time. As well as in my own way slowing down. While it’s frustrating not to be able to smile for a while. I am not worried about what I look like and I am not in a rush to find an instant cure. I continue to live my life as is and have so much going on there is no way to not be on the move...
