Police from Torquay, Lorne, Anglesea and Winchelsea often encounter international visitors - and for good reason. One of Australia's top tourist attractions - the Great Ocean Road - runs right through the Surf Coast, keeping local police on their toes.⁣ ⁣ For most tourists, the scenic views and windy roads are a must see, with many visitors jumping at the opportunity to hire a car and head out as soon as they land down under. Luckily for our members, the Great Ocean Road is one of the few places where there are arrows to indicate which side of the road you need to be on.⁣ ⁣ Senior Sergeant Adrian Bickley said, “we recognise a lot of people might be from a country where they drive on the opposite side of the road.
