Brendan was on the way to the footy with his mates in June, when he suffered a medical episode at North Richmond Railway Station and collapsed, hitting his head.⁣ ⁣ Moments before the 49-year-old went into cardiac arrest, other commuters alerted Protective Services Officers on patrol, who were able to quickly administer CPR while waiting for ambulancevic paramedics to arrive.⁣ ⁣ Two months on, Brendan recently met up with PSOs Cam McConville and Ryan Hutchinson to thank the two officers who helped save his life.⁣ ⁣ It was a career highlight for Cam, who had only been in the job for eight months.⁣ ⁣ “We’re given the training required to deal with these kinds of scenarios and while it is different in real life, I’m glad we’ve been able to put our training to the best possible use.
